...or do you prefer something like HURRICANE BIANCA?

The film Hurricane Bianca (2016) is a comedy film, written and directed by Matt Kugelman. It stars Roy Haylock, also known as Bianca del Río, as herself and others well known drag queens like Shangela or Willam.

The film is  placed  in a small town in Texas in our time. It was filmed both in Texas and New York.

The film is about Richard Martinez, a science teacher who doesn´t find a good job. Everything changes when he got one in Texas, so he moved there. On his first day, he gets fired because of his sexuality, which is legal in Texas. Following this, Richard decides to have revenge and he returns to the high school as his drag persona, Bianca del Río. Now, she is not only the opposite gender, but also her personality is completely different, being rude and sarcastic. She came for the people who were rude or hateful to him, ruining some careers, like the vice principal of the high school. At the end, everyone loves Bianca and they realize that they need to stop bullying gay people.

I strongly recommend this film not only because it’s so funny to watch, but also because the film touches on serious social issues.
