Don´t be afraid, it´s just THE SHINING!!

The Shining is based on a book by Stephen King. The film was directed by Stanley Kubrick. It stars Jack Nicholson as Jack Torrance, Shelley Duvall as Wendy Torrance and Danny Lloyd as Danny Torrance. The film hasn’t won any prices but it has great reviews.

The film is set in Colorado in 1980 and is set in the same place.

The plot is about Jack Torrance, who gets a new job in Colorado, and he moves there with his wife Wendy and his son Danny. He is going to work as a winter caretaker at Overlook Hotel, which stays isolated during the whole winter. His idea is writing his new novel while he is taking care of the place. But suddenly, his personality changes and he becomes more aggressive. Danny, his son, has a special telepathic ability, called “the shining”, and with this ability he discovers new information about this hotel, which seems to be enchanted. Jack turns crazy and he tries to murder his family, but luckily they manage to escape in a very anguishing scene. In the end, we can see a photo of Jack posted at the hotel, but this photo is 20 years old

I strongly recommend watching The Shining, it is very well written and the camera shots are incredible. Also it’s a different horror film with a psychological fear more than jump scares. It’s considered one of the best horror films of all times and I would absolutely advise you to buy on DVD, which includes the director’s cut, which is amazing.
